Following the support from another amputee Stephen found the need for a support network in the UK, first he got involved with a local support group in Liverpool before teaming up with friends to create a non-profit business called Amputation, Inspiration and Motivation CIC, and then founded Amputation Foundation as a registered charity in England and Wales.

Andy was injured in Afghanistan in October 2009 when he stepped on an Improvised Explosive Device (IED) where he lost his right leg below the knee, his left leg above the knee and his right arm above elbow. Andy radiates inspiration through his continuous challenges that are above and beyond what most able bodied people would even consider, such as cycling for hundreds of miles, kayaking, skydiving, abseiling and much more.
